- What does verification actually check?
- A real human reviews every verification. For performers and venues we confirm identity and that the account represents who it claims to — so the badge means someone checked, not that a form was filled in. Unverified accounts are limited until they pass review.
- How do you stop spam and mass cold outreach?
- Messaging is gated behind verification, bulk outreach has per-day limits and is audited, and we run anti-spam and reporting primitives across the platform. The goal is a directory where a message from a stranger is worth reading.
- What does a Pro / paid venue subscription unlock?
- Venue subscriptions unlock outreach and discovery tools — proactively reaching performers, richer listings, and calendar features. Performers never pay. The only money we make is the venue subscription, and it cancels from the customer portal in two clicks.
